I just came back from the office, and I just had to update. After our lunch at the office (thanks to McD Delivery Service! hehe..), Abg Shah had a call from our boss Pak Non & his wife Kak Wan, who were both not at the office today.. due to the flood that had unfortunately hit their house! Oh no!
Abg Shah: Saper nak pi tgk ghumah Pak Non naik ayaq? Mai lekaih!!
Semua staff (kecuali Abg Shapari): Jom!
Abg Shapari: Takpa lah.. aku malaih (malas), nak tidoq. Lgpun, takda sapa nak jaga ofis nanti. Hangpa pi elok2 noh..
Geng2 penyelamat dengan jet-ski nyer..
Nak selamat? Park kereta atas pavement..
Salah satu rumah yang dilanda banjir..So, Abg Shah drove Kak Kinah, Kak Ina, Fiza and Me in Kak Ina's proton iswara.. along the way to Pak Non's house, we saw many houses were terribly flooded.. some cars even went under the water (ada this one keta mini mr bean, nampak bumbung keta jer!).
Setengah lane drp jalan besar dah 'out'..
Lori ini parking atas PAVEMENT, pavement pun dah 'out'..At 4pm, we reached in front of Pak Non's house. We were shocked to see that it was not just knee-deep as Abg Shah said when he had earlier passed by the house at 12noon but now it had rose to to waist-deep! There was no way of getting in and out of there unless you'd wanna go for a dip in a pool of 'teh-tarik'..

Rumah boss, Pak Non..We couldn't do anything to help, and so we head back to the office. Abg Shah called a few people to help getting a temporary boat while the rest of us were talking about the flood areas until 5.30pm.. I drove my Wira today, but tomorrow I'll be driving my mom's Pajero if nature calls for its help. Ooh boy, what a day!
P/S: I thought about u when I was having my lunch, dear..
