Pimp My Ride.. 1st Stage.

Usually, I update my blog with new gadgets and gizmos.. but not this time. It's more than just techy iventory.. it's my 1st time ever - pimp my ride.

I've been watching that MTV Pimp My Ride shows for millions of time, had the urge to upgrade my ride.. and it gets more irresistable when my officemates took me to some chop-shops (kedai kereta potong). Back then, I was an EVO freak - always wanted EVO parts on my car.. until I stumbled upon the Lancer GSR parts. Thought it may not be as outstanding as the EVOs, it was more likely suitable for those 'low profile, simple but nasty' kinda look. Perhaps some who are not car enthusiast would say, "..you paid that much money for a simple looking spoiler/sideskirts/etc like that?"

YES. Why? Let me answer it for you, "..do you know what car that part is from? It's from an original Mitsubishi Lancer GSR. How do I know it's original? That's why I go to the chop-shops, so I can see with my own eyes what car the parts are taken from."

Enough talk, let's see what I've done on my 1st stage of pimpin' my ride.

Ok, so let me lay out the entire financial process:-
1. 1 Original GSR Spoiler = RM250
2. 1 pair of Original GSR Sideskirts = RM250
3. 1 set of Original Mitsubishi Door Visors = RM80
4. 1 roll of 3M Double-sided tape (strongest type) = RM15
4. Installation service charges = RM40 ONLY!
5. Petrol (from Alor Star to the workshop at Kulim High-Tech) = RM40
6. Toll fares & lunch = ~RM25

Total money spent on my 1st Stage of Pimp My Ride = RM700.

Next stage: 15" two-piece rims, muffler, or front & back bumpers.
