My 1st Project - Masjid Alor Semela..
It's a small renovation project.. mostly reconstructioning the roofs, kubah, and walls.. and perhaps a new theme colour would be nice. Abg Shah, Zul & ME went to this old masjid situated at Jln. Dato' Kumbar, Alor Setar, Kedah.. at 3pm after our lunch break. Abg Shah sent Zul & ME to climb up to the roof thru a VERY THIN & SHAKY wooden stair while he did the talking with the Ustaz (takut nak naik ler tuh, citt!).
As you can see in the 1st pic, the blue top roof area is meant to be replaced with a kubah.. and a new set of zink roofs is acceptable since there were many patches here and there (some even had holes in it).
As for the 2nd pic, here Zul & ME "carefully" stand firm and take measurements of the roof (one small wrong step, and it's gonna be a 15feet free-fall to the concrete floor! yikes!!).
The final skecthing of the original roof measurements (Zul's handwriting, not mine). Then, the next step would be applying the measurements into AutoCAD and reconstructing the plan (Zul's job) & creating the 3D perspective view to an overall new look (my job).
At the end of the day, I got SUNBURN!! It was 30+ degrees when I was up there on the roof! And I was wearing my black shirt some more! ARGHHH!! (o_O)
