Dad finally got his dream theatre set, wireless lagi tuh!! It's a 5.1 Digital DTS S-DIAT wireless system, a SLOT-IN 5 disc-changer, and get this.. a total of 1000W (143Wx5 + 285W) RMS powered audio quality. Now THAT'S what I call a home theatre.. (did i mention the word wireless?)

I can't believe the sharpness & crispness of the speakers, even at highest volume played when I firstly surveyed at the Sony outlet.. (demo dvd playback of a partial Kill Bill movie, the shattering sounds of glass and the clash-and-grind swords effect simply blown my eardrums right away!) The wireless technology was successfully made possible by a small pair of black infra-red stands (one for the front pairs of speakers, one for the back pairs). The player itself (yes, it is included for the entire system to function) can play DivX movies burnt on CDs or DVDs, which means I can watch my Smallville DivX video files.. sweet!

Actually, dah lama daddy idamkan this thing.. so yesterday (Friday), I brought my family to the outlet and had a sort of '1-hour-testdrive' of the system. So, when it came today, it took quite some time to set it up and placing them at the right precise position to get the "surround DTS" atmosphere.. (try watching Juon with this baby at full DTS mode) Scary, indeed.

Dad got an offer of RM2999 instead of the original price RM3199 due to dad's social skills he flawlessly delivered. Oh yeah, I almost forgot.. they even gave a free microphone, if anyone of us decided to practice before participating in the Akademi Fantasi audition (which is opened now), or Malaysian Idol (if u guys miss Paul so much). Huhu!
