Hasrat tak kesampaian..

Today, aku berkobar2 nak tgk Spiderman2.. eventhough rasa penat sebab semalam aku tak dpt tido the whole night . Pusing2 atas katil, sedar2 dah 10am.. oh damn it. 10am - 1pm baru dpt tido. And yeah.. I got one of those weird dreams again. Malas nak describe, too merapu .

Dressed in my 'lama-dah-beli-tapi-baru-nak-pakai' black Giordano tshirt aku yg ada tulisan cina or whatever lah. Bought it time sale in Mid Valley dulu, buy two for RM29.90 kot. Aku pun angkat la satu kaler merah (ada ong bak kata org cina) and hitam (eventhough aku tak suka hitam) sebab tuh je design yang lawa comparing others. Pickup Shah and Pijan, head to town and ate my fav Sundae Strawberry at McDs. Pastu, teman Shah beli toiletries kat Watson. Esok, dia balik Mantin dah.. so aku pun saja beli Shokubutsu 'orange' shower foam, nak try la kan.. mana tau better than Palmolive 'Sensual' yg kaler merah tuh. So, aku pun ajak la Shah tgk Spiderman2 tapi dia nih mcm tak brapa suka tgk wayang.. tak tau la naper. Nevermind la, demi member.. aku gadaikan Spiderman2. Seriously, aku memang cool with dat.. grr grrrr..

Dah lah, almost maghrib nih. Nak prayer dulu . Ciao!

Meh tengok pondarium (50% siap) dengan garden rumah aku..

Ha'ah, btul.. baru 50% finish sebab cina yg nak pasang wooden bridge and tiles tuh blom mai lagik. And get this, my mom ordered another small pond nak letak kat hujung garden. The small pond yang I recommended mom to put the 'kincir air' thingy instead of the boring fountain tempayan. Anyway, check out these pictures below..

Working on mom's pondarium..

Yup, got up early (according to my time management) at 12pm.. bathed and followed mom to a few plant houses around in town. She wanted to get a fountain but she couldn't decide what type that suits the pond.. so that's where I came in. I wanted the pond to be more attractive, so I suggested mom to reconsider about getting a 'kincir air' rather than a normal tempayan with the fountain pump inside. Heh, I like a lil' bit of clockswork.. suka tgk benda gerak2 drp air dok kuar camtuh jer kan.

Last2 my mom beli benda lain.. 2 water plants for the pond. We got stuck in this plant house, JCH Garden, for almost an hour sebab mom saw many water plants including the purple water lily, kiambang, japanese umbrella, red cannon (imported), green cannon (local), and arrowhead (the leaves looks like the head of an arrow.. duh). We were greeted nicely by on elder chinese lady, but I got pretty annoyed with her small son (who keeps on spraying water with his tiny water gun.. DAMN U KID!! haha). Finally, mom decided to take 2 arrowheads (1 imported = RM60, and 1 local = RM40).

As soon as we got home, I helped mom with the plants.. make sure it stays in da pond with sufficient water. Then, I just went inside and TOOK MY BREAKFAST.. yeah, my stomach mmg tgh lapaq gila.. so, masuk je kitchen.. bedal nasik dgn 3 ketul chicken rendang drumstick yg my mom masak awal2 lagi :) Petang, nothing much.. lepak dlm bilik main game. Tolong my adik with her maths, pastu lepak main game lagi.

Before mom and dad tido, depa pesan buang sampah dan cuci pinggan. So, cheq pun bikin la keje sket.. tapi tengok2, my dad dok gelak kuat habis2an kat living room nih.. u know why? Sebab tgk citer Austin Powers kat Astro. Laaa... ingatkan aper la tadi. Masuk je kitchen (sbb nak basuh tgn yg baru je angkat sampah tadi).. my mom plak gelak habis2an.. sebab tgk Phua Chu Kang (PCK) kat TV3. Masya Allah, apehal la nak jadik dgn family aku nihhh. So, juz wana make sure.. aku pun masuk la bilik adik aku, sibbaik la adik aku takde nak gelak2 because dia dok study for her PMR.

Then, 10pm telah tiba.. tapi aku merasakan kemalasan pula nak online malam nih. Penat hari nih actually, lagi pun there's nothing much to do. Dok check results tapi server tak bukak on weekends, so kena la check results aku esok (insya' Allah.. semua ok). And, I took this online test thingy.. itu pun sebab I read it on Dana's blog.

Penatnyer hari nih..

Woke up at 9am, teman da whole family to Kedah Medical Centre (KMC) for mom's appointment with da one and only cardiologist doctor in KMC, Mr. Amin Sani. Brought along dad's viewcam, snapped some videos at the new KMC building including the doctor's new office. Later, mom asked me to snap a video while the doc is taking blood from her in his lab.. (man, I hate blood.. and needles.. yikes!!) Once he got mom's blood sample, he asked all of us to have a break while he prescribe to his nurse regarding mom's medicine. Yup, ubat dah nak abis.. so better topup until the next appointment which will be on 1st August. So, we head down da cafeteria.. ate b'fast.. dad took mom's medicine from the counter outside da cafeteria (at least they have this waiting number system, or else.. alahai.. org kedah mana la nak reti beratur).. and we head back home quick.

Once at home, my hopes for continuing my sleep was a miss because mom asked me to clean up da new 'pond-arium' (my theory for pond+aquarium). Eventhough there's no bridge or fishes yet, at least the simen (eh, how to spell it in english huh?) dah kering. Basuh2 sket.. then fill it up with water.. put some stepping stones in it.. but somehow as the water reached almost at the top of the pondarium, mom spotted somewhere ada kebocoran. "Bodoh la depa nih.. arituh dah suruh bikin elok2 jgn kasi bocoq.. ada jugak yg tak kena.." my mom complained. Wut to do kan.. so isi sampai takat mana tak bocor je lah.

12:00pm - Hujan plak turun.. thank god la renyai2 only, and ada bumbung above the pondarium. So, me and mom cepat2 clean up the surroundings.. but I didn't let mom do too much work, sket2 tuh boleh la tapi biasa la kan.. my mom suka do things on her own regardless what condition she's in.

12:45pm - Kak In came by to pickup some PS-One games I promised to give her. Who is she? She's my ex's elder sister. Yeah, me and my ex are still gud frens. :) She was on her way in her Honda Prelude to Perlis for a kursus but tak tanya plak what kursus.

Then, I helped mom some more.. tengok2 dah 1pm, terus took my bath and got ready for my prayers. Dad drove us with his black merc to our usual mosque. Balik2 from prayers tuh, tapau lauk. Makan kat umah ramai2. And then, petang around 4pm.. I decided to lepak with my friend Pijan and Afa in town. Lagipun, nak pi tukaq cd game baru PS2 'ObsCure' yang aku baru beli semalam sebab the language is not English not Japanese.. nih mmg bahasa french @ german tapi cutscenes & movies cakap english. Mula2 tuh mmg la try main tapi bila sampai riddle.. tulis plak dlm that foreign language, apa citer kan? Cina kedai tuh pun confident plak, "Yeah yeah. English. Ada losak.. kasi tukaq mai.." Poodahh chaitt!! :P

So, sampai je town.. I exchanged the game with another new game "Psi-Ops". This one gerenti english sebab made from an english based company. Meet up Afa later with his cool hair-do, "besa la Foo.. aku kan artist" he said as he shook my hand. Kebetulan ada la plak macam talent show kat tengah2 Star Parade nih..

Takde keje, we all pusing2 dlm this one shop J-Mall (I pronounce it as Je-Mol), Afa tried Edwin jeans while Pijan was his dressing supervisor, "hang tuh dia.. time kat KL takmo shopping, mai sini baru nak gatai beli.. sini mana ada banyak choice, dowh.." terus disembur oleh Pijan. Last2, diorang tak beli apa2.. aku gak yg beli selipar cina. Mueheheh.. u guys tau what selipar jepun kan, mcm slipper jamban tuh. Nih selipar cina ada pangkat sket la drp yg jamban tuh.. dia tak la flat, and slalu nya.. CINA YANG PAKAI. Ada paham? Tengok jer lah pics nih if you don't get what I mean. (By the way, I always have the tendency to dress like chinese.. poyo kan? haha!) Harga = RM29.90 (worth it tak?)

Da best 3days + 2nights trip to KL!

Oh yeah, it's good to be home, aint it?!!! I had da best 3 days & 2 nights holiday trip in KL with my buddies, Afa and Pijan.

Sunday, 20th June, 2004
8:30am - After I had my b'fast with mom & dad, I kissed them goodbye as I wished dad, "Happy Father's Day, papa.." :) Drove to Afa's and obviously I had to salam with his dad, I dressed casually just to gain his dad's confidence (aint dat da truth, haha!). One BIG bag of his clothes to be drop off at his bro's place in Ampang later in KL, one small bag for da journey. We left Alor Setar by 9:30am.

11:30am - Reached Sg. Perak, we took a leak.. ate there, bungkus some guavas, head back da highway.

12:30pm - Detoured into Ipoh to pick up ma homie Pijan, we waited 1/2 hour for him at Petronas. He came by bike, asked us to follow him to his rent house to get his luggage. It was quite far from the highway-Ipoh exit, no wonder he was late :P Once we're done, we left Ipoh at 1:30pm and the journey was more havoc now dat Pijan's in da car! Woohoo!!

3:30pm - We're kinda hungry, so we ate at the Restoran Jejantas in Sg. Buloh. All of us had Burger King's mushroom burger and A&W rootbear floats. That really stuffed our bellys to da max.. *burp!*

5:00pm - Finally, we're in KL. Got lost a while (obviously on my first time driving there).. but thanks to me and my public transport routine, I manage to recall the directions to our hotel, Prescott Inn at Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman (5 minutes walk from da SOGO mall). But before we even went there, I promised to drop Afa's HUGE luggage at his bro's place in Ampang. After that baru we all went to the hotel and checked into our rooms.

5:30pm - We checked into our room - Room 806, rested a few hours before we discussed where to go later. Surprisingly, my nigga Nedu called and asked us to meet him, Hendra, Mizi & Hana.. at Mid Valley that night. So, we took turns bathed and got ready..

8:00pm - Once we're in Mid Valley, he headed to GSC to meet da guys. He had our dinner at Oasis, only the three of us since Nedu, Hendra, Mizi & Hana had already eaten earlier in Bangsar. Then, we borak2 together.. but since tomorrow is weekday, Mizi & Hana had to leave early coz they're working.

9:00pm - So, the 5 of us head to Hendra's crib in Shah Alam. We just talked the whole night away about lots of things (gud + bad). Pijan had a private conversation with Nedu.. me, Afa, and Hendra had our private conversations as well. (It's a guy thing, really..)

12:00am - We left Hendra and Nedu coz I started to feel exhausted. Drove all the way back to our hotel room. Guess what happened when we reached there?

1:00am - I decided to take the guys to Setiawangsa, Keramat.. to get all of my things from my rent house that very night jugak! They were the only 2 people that I've brought into my room - and they've seen the real hell-hole that I've been living for almost 2 years. Almost 1hour+ I packed my things and transfered all of them into the car. Seeing my buddies tired from the liftings of my luggages, I treated them at a famous place nearby called Jummah - a mamak stall with the big screen projected tv. Watched a EURO match for a few minutes, but I decided to let it go and head back bcoz it was already late.

3:30am - Got into our beds, me shared one bed with Pijan (now don't u even think about anything ok?!!).. and Afa slept alone on another.


Monday, 21st June, 2004
8:45am - Woke up, went down to my car to slip some coins at the parking spot bcoz those Dewan Bandaraya people DO summon. Chunk up more than RM4 to get a maximum of 4hours which gives me around 12:30pm to get down and refill again. Got back up into the room.. and slept a few hours.

12:00pm - All of us bathed, dressed up funky to da max.. and planned to do some serious shopping in Sg. Wang. Once we reached the parking lot, guess what happened to my car.. I GOT A TICKET!!!
[Kesalahan: Parking meter tiada baki. - Masa: 11.30pagi. - Saman: RM10.00]

Me: WHAT DA F*CK?!!! Oh hell no, I aint gonna pay that.. this is bullshit!!
Afa: Yea, this doesn't make any sense.. are you sure u put coins in the meter?
Me: Dude, I've spend almost RM5 okay.. don't tell me the meter has a fast timer..
Pijan: Ntah ah Foo.. maybe kot.. bukan bley percaya sgt skarang..
Me: Hmm, keta lain ader tak saman?
Afa: (looking at other cars) Yup, they also got summons.. tp meter depa dah kosong.. mmg patut kena saman pun..
Me: Arghh.. jom gi to this Dewan Bandaraya.. I wana argue with this fella..

So, just wanna let my parents know.. I called dad, but he said he's gonna settle it..

Dad: Just bring it back home, let me handle it..
Me: But papa.. I wana do this on my own.. I wanna argue, this is a rip-off..
Dad: I know, but cukup lah tuh.. next time, park betul2 kat depan pintu masuk hotel. Dah, go and have fun with your friends..
Me: Okay, I call u later papa.. thanks and kim salam mama and adik..
Dad: Alright, bye.

1:00pm - Sg. Wang was injected with three more guys.. Afa dragged us straight to Imbi to survey his dream PC. He got an awesome offer.. RM2960 - Pentium 4 3.0Ghz, 128MB RAM (I wonder why he asked that much only?), 120GB Seagate Barracuda, Lite-on DVD+CD/RW combo, ATi Radeon 9600 XT (bundle pack with games), Creative Sound Blaster LS soundcard (tak ingat what model), and a LOT of casing fans!!!

Me: Why do need so much fans in it?
Afa: I want a 'cool' PC.. get it, hehe..
Me & Pijan: Whatever.. :P

So, he put a deposit (with my money temporarily) RM50, and we teman Afa to withdraw his money.. RM3000 in cash *ka-ching!* But Afa's so damn paranoid with RM3k in his pocket, I calmed him down with a small meal in KFC, Sg. Wang. Pijan also relaxed him a lot.D one with da meal, we went back to the PC shop. Afa payed, he asked us to take our time as he stayed there watched them build his PC. Well, me and Pijan left him.. and we went window shopping in Sg. Wang.. shoes, to be exact ;) 30minutes later, Afa called and we helped him carried his new PC and other boxes containing drivers and manuals. We safely placed his PC in da car, and I brought them to my favourite shoe shop.

As we entered, I saw this all-black Air Jordan (the same model as mine, only mine was white + red).. and I asked for a pair to try. Afa and Pijan was facinated with the variety of shoes - Nike, And1, Diesel, DC, Adidas, Converse, Timberland, etc..

Me: Psst.. hey guys, cuba korang tgk the highest price in this shop.. let me know when you've found it.. (hehe)
Afa & Pijan: (after a few minutes surveying) Hmm.. kami rasa yg paling tinggi is RM185 kot..
Me: Now you know why I like this shop so much. The quality is exactly the same as originals but there's nothing above RM200 here!

So, as the cute 19years old malay girl came with my shoes.. I tried on, do some walking to da 'comfortable-test'.. and it passed. I cough up RM150 for da shoes plus another RM7 for a pair of white shoe laces for my white Adidas (ala Nike Air Force1).
Then, we left the building with lesser bulk on our wallets (alahai.. makin nipis plak dompet nih ekk.. huhu!)

We head back to da hotel, and all of us slept till evening.

6:00pm - Pijan left us for he went to Bukit Bintang to meet his new girl buddy. Me & Afa just watched the tv.. There's this cool movie about Dennis Rodman, the basketball player.. we both enjoyed it. Now we know how he lived to be a star :)

8:30pm - Pijan came back, SMILING all da way. Biasa lah.. dah jumpa awek, mesti ah happy kan :P

9:00pm - We were so hungry (except Pijan since he already ate), so I brought them to this special place in Wangsa Maju - NZ. NZ is a famous open-air restaurant with a DAMN HUGE projected canvas.. and that night, Shaolin Soccer was on TV3 :D Haha!! Pijan juz drank, me had da delicious Char Kueh Teow, and Afa got these - 2 roti canais, 1 tandoori chicken, 1 char kueh toew.

Me: You're a damn cannibal, man.. are you THAT hungry?
Afa: Oh yah.. hik hik..
Pijan: Biaq pi la Foo.. dia kan mmg makan banyak.. tgk la camna boroi dia skang..

9:45pm - Finish eating, I drove us all the way to KL as I asked myself there was something we had to do before we go back north. We went to Ampang at 10pm and KARAOKE bebeh!! RM35 and hour, but it was worth it! The place was big, clean, and awesome!! Computerized song selections, 2 high quality microphones, a pair of good bassed speakers, a big tv.. all in one comfortable air-cond room. My first song was 'MLTR - That's Why (You Go Away)' which so far in my entire karaoke experience, is the best song I've ever sang =) Then, we took turns singing according to our song selections.. we were having so much fun, we decided to ADD ANOTHER HOUR!!! Damn, this is da life I'm telling you guys.. thanks Afa for showing us da best karaoke place in Ampang.. it was fantastic guys..

12:30am - We drove back and still we're singing in da car.. haha.. Reached da hotel, masuk je bilik, terus tido.


Tuesday, 22nd June, 2004
10:00am - Checked out from da hotel, head to Ampang to drop Afa's new PC at his bro's place. We had a quick sandwich in da house :) Then, I planned to meet up with my adorable friend, Dana, at her office in KPMG, Jalan Dungun. So, as I drove along da way.. I called Dana for directions, I followed exactly what she said.. until I reached Klang and I was doubtful.

12:30pm

Me: Fut kat Klang nih.. betul ke directions u kasi?
Dana: Uish.. dah jauh melampau tuh.. tak jumpa ke Jalan Dungun?
Me: Takde pun.. dah ikut the previous roads yg u mentioned, tp jalan tuh je yg tak jumpa.. ada tak apa2 landmark kat situ?
Dana: Jap ek.. (tanya office mates).. bangunan John Hancock.. and I lupa laa nak sebut, masuk Jalan Bangsar dulu tadi..
Me: Laaaaaaa.. Ok la Dana, I think I know da way now.. thanks..
Dana: Sorry ek..

Arghh.. because of one road dia tak bagitau, and one landmark dia tak bagitau.. we all wasted 1 hour. Later, we retraced our track back to KL.. into Jalan Duta -> Jalan Semantan -> JALAN BANGSAR -> Jalan Dungun. When I got there, I called her, and she came down from her office.. picked her up, and we all ate in BSC, Bangsar.

2:30pm - Makan kat food court - all on me :) Afa and Pijan left us alone as soon as they're done eating. Then, I belek2 Dana's new love a.k.a. Nokia 6600. Snap some pics, played some tones, it's actually an awesome-packed phone. I snap our pics on my digicam, then we both left the food court and meet up da guys, and sent Dana back to her office. Heh, I didn't realize I took her office hours.. she already had her break previously but she was so kind enough to spend time with us :) Before she got out of the car, I gave her a couple of CDs that I burned for her - 1 audio cd, another are full of flash files, movies, etc.

4:30pm - Baru skarang nak b'tolak ke Alor Setar. Best tak?

6:30pm - Drop my friend Pijan at Ipoh, he's gonna come back to Alor Setar after a few days bcoz he has some laundry to do first. Then, it's just me and Afa in da car all da way then. We talked a lot in da car.. about life, personal r'ships, funny shits, etc. It was one of those brotherly get-to-know-ur-fren-better quality times. Hey, that's what real friends do..

10:30pm - Alhamdulillah, sampai jugak Alor Setar dgn selamat nye.. but we ate first at a Medan Selera somewhere after the toll. Then, baru I dropped Afa at his place.. and I drove back home.. dad was still awake, he helped me carried my stuffs into da house.

12:00am - Unpacked my bags, thrown away all my used clothes into da 'bakul baju kotor'.. bathed and slept instantly.


P/S: Thanks so much mom & dad for letting me drive my car around KL, thanks my friends for accompanying me, thanks Dana too! :D

Another magician on Astro StarWorld..

We all know who David Blaine is. He's a master illusionist, a street magician, and by first impression.. a normal guy dressed in tight black tshirt with a pair of long pants. But looks may be deciving, so that's how I enjoyed (and still do) watching this fella performing his tricks on the tv.

But recently, another magician was on tv tonight - Criss Angel, the world's Magician of The Year - 2001. Looks more gore and gruesome ala metal.. but my first impression, he's more aggresively dedicated in his work. While David Blaine targets younger people, Criss Angel goes for the teenagers and elderly.. because his tricks are kinda.. err.. scary (needles thru his body, hooks on his skin, etc).

Who's the best between the two? You decide..

For the first time plak tuh.. itu pun ada Terms & Conditions - bring at least one friend to teman. So, I hook up Afa but Shah couldn't make it since his dad didn't allow him to join us. Oh well, takpe lah. The trip is gonna be on Sunday, 20th June.. lepak in KL a couple of nights and on the 22nd June (Tuesday), we're gonna head back up north. I'm gonna drive all the way down there just to pick up my PC, books, magazines, and most importantly - CLOTHES!! Haha! :P Gotta clean up my room at the rumah sewa before next month comes.. I aint gonna pay next month's rental coz I'm outta there for good! Out of dat hell-hole I've been surviving for almost 2 damn years!!

Well, anyway.. today, I teman mom shopping in town.. she bought 2 pairs of sandals, and my lil' sis plak bought one. I got myself a cheap RM19.90 BUM sleeveless tshirt (I like wearing sleeveless nowadays). Later, mom decided to buy this portable Air Cooler thingy (RM199) rather than buying wall-fans which she has to hire a wire-man to plug them into the walls later. So, it's not that big.. just around 3feet high. A good afordable portable standing air-cond machine.. not bad, not bad at all :)

Tonight, I was so bored.. I just added some things on the sidebar of this here blog. It's my fav tv shows.. don't bother watching, unless you crave for real entertainment. Only available on ASTRO and obviously, online.

Now, beat it!


P/S: Damn, I'm so hungry.. where did I put my lasagna.. *nyum nyum*

My Hotlink finally bukak posa after almost a month fasting.. mueheheh..

And guess what? If you Hotlink users actually read the 'Terms & Conditions' crap.. err, I mean document.. the change from Talk Plan to SMS Plan is actually FREE. How come? Well, this 1st time you change the plan, they WILL charge you RM5 (deducted from your credit).. but they will refund the RM5 back into your credit upon the next topup. Anyway, I'm not really 100% sure about it.. I guess I have to wait and see (which I think it's gonna be a long wait since I'm saving on my newly changed SMS Plan.. hehe.)

Devil May Cry 2..

Yesterday, I met up with Afa and Omar for some basketballin' at our old school.. and Omar was so generously awesome that he GAVE me his Devil May Cry 2 game - for FREE! And today I started playing it (since I finished my brunch this afternoon).. damn, there are a lot of great upgrades in this sequel. The moves apparently, really meant the word 'flexibility' but the weapons are not so appealing like the previous version. Hence, just before I wrote this blog.. I manage to FINISH the game on BOTH DISKS (Dante and Lucia character). Muahhahahh.. I told you I love this kinda games. DMC rocks!! (CAPCOM© people, you guys are marvelous!)

Yeah, I know it's an old game.. but I just thought of playing it now since I don't have any good games to play during my holidays. I bought it today (Saturday) around 5pm at my usual GamePlus videogames outlet. Played it from 6pm, finished the game at 1am :) Well, it took me 7hours to play (and at the same time to eat, watchin' over my lil' nephew, talk with my friend on my handphone, and download mp3s on my laptop).. and overall, it's my favourite type of game -> action + violence + awesome powers + hero yg slamber!

Damn it's an awesome game. Gotta get Devil May Cry 2 and the upcoming Devil May Cry 3.. =)

Here's a true story that just happened to me in Klang....

It was Saturday (17th Apr) morning about 3.50 am. I just got back home after my usual Friday nite out. Feeling very tired, I inclined my seat so that I could rest my eyes a little. Few seconds later, a gold metallic Wira (the old sedan type, yellow/red tail lights) passes by. Though I couldn't see the passengers in the car, my instinct told me to lock my car... so I did.

The Wira then made a turn infront and headed back my direction and stop right beside my car, a couple of fellow stormed out of the car and one of them tried to open my door. I shouted and before I can take a good look at them, they started smashing my window.

The first hit cracked the whole window, the second hit made a small hole and by the 3rd and 4th hit my car window is almost gone. I quickly start my car and sped off. Thinking they might be aftering me, I quickly drove to a dark alley to hide. After the situation is clear, I drove straight to the police station.

After lodging my report, I was asked to wait for the sargeant. While waiting, 2 teenagers stepped in to make a report as well. They were robbed. I found out later from them, they were robbed by the same gang who tried to rob me. Driving the same gold Wira and it happened like 1-2 km away on the other side of the neighbourhood. Threatening them with parangs, those indians took away their wallets and handphones.

Its only after I spoke to the teenagers, only I realised that those robbers were smashing my car with PARANGS! Another extra hit and my face would have been gone. I was lucky I escaped.

So, the next time you're in your car. No matter short or long distance, ALWAYS LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS!
I'm not promoting anything here, but do try to get a tint for your car windows. It saved my life because the tint was holding on for a few more hits which gave me enough time to escape.

Just another ordinary day..

Woke up at 10am to the sound of my handphone ringing..

Voice: Hello you..

Me: Ermm.. (clears throat).. hello..

Voice: Baru bangun ke? It's me lah..

Me: Yeah, I know it's you, Farah.. wassup? Wutz da time anyway?

Farah: Hey, I'm in Alor Setar already. Petang nih if I'm free I wanna drop by and see your mom, okay?

Me: Ermm.. sure. Juz let me know what time your coming, ok?

Farah: I'm going to Penang petang nih at 5pm and tomorrow I'll be going to Beijing, and I haven't packed yet..

Me: Aight, cool. If tak sempat, then some other day okay?

Farah: Apa2 pun, I really wanna see you..

Me: Ooh-kaaaaay.. (hmm I wonder why?)

Farah: Okay lah, I nak basuh baju and borak2 with my sister.

Me: Aight, kim salam yer sis for me..

Farah: Alright..

Me: Bye..

Farah: Bye..

Well, that was indeed a surprise call from someone I haven't talked with for a such a long time. I don't mind if she comes, but I don't think she can make it since she's extremely busy today. Never the less, I do kinda miss her ;)

I waited for her call while I was playing games on my PS2 but then my homie - Afa, called..

Afa: Hello, Foo..

Me: Wassup dude..

Afa: Weh, mai la town.. aku boring sorang2 nih..

Me: Ok, ok.. kalau aku nak kuar, aku call hang dulu.

Afa: Wokeh, ciao..

Me: Ciao.

Then, at 4:30pm, Farah finally called but she said she couldn't make it. It's ok I guess coz it would be troublesome for her to come but I detected a sad intonation in her voice.

Does she really misses me?

Anyway, knowing that she couldn't make it.. I went to town to find my mom's pain-killer patches - Kenhancer, at the pharmacies. No luck, they don't have anymore stocks. So, I met up with Afa at StarWalk (yeah, I know the name's kinda lame since it copies BintangWalk) for a glass of Chocolate Shake - RM5 each, all on him. =)

We chit-chatter and soon, ladies start to sit at the tables around us. Mueheheh.. typical lah tuh. Bila kita dressing elok, baru nak mai menggatai. Cuba kita dressing simple or selekeh, jangan harap nak pandang! :P

5:30pm, I had to make a move. We both left town, Afa headed home while I had a short drop-by at one pharmacy in Simpang Kuala (the one my parents always go to).. and alhamdulillah, I got mom's patches. Paid them (RM9 x 5patches = RM45) and went back home.

At 6pm, dad brought us to a pasar malam in Jitra. Dad got his cheap RM10 yellow-boot-colooured jacket while mom bought some thin old-skool sejadahs. Me bought 'The Punisher' VCD (well, they still have 'em pirated cds here). My lil' sis, Ann, bought a couple of tudungs for her school uniform. Once we're done surveying, we sat down and had some light meals - 20 sticks of chicken satays (dad), bihun sup (daging for me, ayam for mom), and Ann was on her diet (yeah right!). By 7pm, we left the pasar malam and got home safely.

Hmm.. itu jer lah for today, nothing special. I gotta go now.. wanna eat something (perhaps some KFC leftovers), do some workouts (lifting dumbells), and baca Yassin (dah lama tak pegang kitab2 suci, gulp!) before I go to bed. Goodnight everybody, ciao.


P/S: Oh yeah, I did some lil' layout modifications. Added the 'flash clock' for fun, hehe.. =)

Miss Universe 2004 goes to... Miss Australia, Jennifer Hawkins!

QUITO, Ecuador - A 20-year-old, blue-eyed Australian was named Miss Universe (news - web sites) 2004 in a two-hour pageant in this Andean capital watched by hundreds of millions of television viewers around the world.

Jennifer Hawkins smiled as the outgoing titleholder, Amelia Vega of the Dominican Republic, slipped the crown on her head Tuesday night at a convention center on the northern outskirts of Quito.

Some 7,500 spectators, who paid hundreds of dollars for seats, cheered as the 5-foot-11 Hawkins walked down the runway, smiling, waving and looking stunned by her victory.

At a news conference afterwards, she arrived with Donald Trump, owner of the Miss Universe parent organization.

"I want to present to you the new Miss Universe. She's spectacular," Trump said. "Jennifer is the most beautiful Miss Universe I have seen in many, many years."

Hawkins, appearing nervous, said she "had no idea this was going to happen to me. It was completely beyond my imagination.

"I have a lot to learn about being Miss Universe, but I'm going to give it my all," she said.

Hawkins is a model and dancer and said she choreographs a dance team that tours Australia. She said her interests are surfing, wakeboarding, camping with family, reading, watching movies and going to see the Australian ballet.

"We're all so proud and so excited for her," her mother Gail said in Sydney, Australia. "I just wish I was there to give her a big cuddle. It's really hard to believe. I wonder if it's sunk in with her yet. I don't think she realizes the attention she has gotten here."

Windows XP Tip - Switch Off the Unimportant Services

You guys wanna work more effectively? Here's a tip - deactivate those services from working in background which can slow your PC down. Free your system from this workload and put a stop to those unwanted activities that you don't really need.

So, here's how. There are two ways - the slow but more specific, or the fast 'check-and-uncheck' method.

The slow way is by clicking on the Start button, choose Run. Type "Services.msc" and click "OK". Now you can see all those services, and their description (which is a lot to read). Right click on any of those names that you wanna disable, choose "Properties". From the Startup Type menu, choose "Disable".. and the program will cease to run.

The fast way (which is for you lazy bums).. click on Start button, choose Run. Type "msconfig" and click "OK". The System Configuration Utility window will appear. Click on the Services tab and you'll see the list of services. From there, you can just uncheck the boxes of those services you wanna disable.

But wait..

Which one should you disable? Are there any services that are vital to window's operation?
Does a single PC differ from a network of PCs? Afraid of a possible system crash after the changes?
